PATIENT INFORMATION

PCMC Goals and Objectives:

To provide and manage facilities, personnel and services for persons requiring inpatient and/or outpatient diagnosis, treatment or therapy without regard to age, race, creed, color, gender, ability, language or national origin.
To maintain the highest quality of patient care that is achievable in accordance with available resources.
To promote the general health of the community by participation in activities and events of benefit to the community, and thereby improve the standards of health care.

Some of the standards and policies we believe in at PCMC:

Our hospital provides a professional atmosphere devoted to the care of the sick, with support to their families.
Our hospital strives to provide the most current treatments and therapies available to all patients, regardless of their financial status.
Our Business Office staff are available to assist with billing and insurance questions, as well as application to the county’s Medical Assistance Program and PCMC’s Charity Care policy. Bilingual staff are ready to serve patients’ needs.
All patient records, both medical and financial, are confidential. All employees abide by HIPAA regulations as they relate to disclosure of information and our Health Information Management Department is solely responsible fore release of medical records.

“In Network” Insurance companies include United HealthCare, PHS, Texas Municipal League, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, TX CHIPS.
